Ok some people on here have some good points and some points that are not mentioned on here yet. First off the place is very nice looking on the outside and from a distance. The lawn is always kept up nicely and is always green. The pool is in the center of things which is a nice touch and is never a far walk from where ever you are living at. The management is ok to deal as long as you don't really expect too much out of them. The parking is fine but lacks in visitor parking as always the problem with apartments. Very safe even to walk around at night on the very nice walking paths next door and the location in wilsonville is very nice. So here are the parts that not so good. The squishy lawn thing isn't much of a problem and it's not very bad. What you have to watch out for are your neighbors as always. I live on the second of three floors and will never do this again or even live in this complex anymore. My neighbor downstairs is the cousin of the crazy cat lady in that she is the crazy dog lady. She lets her dogs out before/after quite hours and it's everyone else's fault they bark at everything around. She slams a door hard enough to make my upstairs neighbor complain about. Now think about that one that's one heck of a door slam EVERY time she comes or goes no matter what the time. She is just loud and very very nuts in the fact that she actually entered my apartment one time after an argument with her about her dogs with out my door being opened or inviting her in. She just barged in and I should have broke her arm and had her arrested. BTW she has 2 of the dam things and yap all day and night. So everyone around her has complained about her on several occasions and nothing ever really seems to get this lady in line with everyone else in the complex. That's what I mean about management not doing much from before. Everywhere else I've been this lady would have been kicked out a long time ago.
Next is there is very little insulation at my apartment mostly for the fact that AFTER I moved in they told me the apartment was previously flooded out but they fixed everything. Well they forgot to put insulation back in the walls and the floors squeak on every step you take there. Yes I do mean every step as well as the upstairs neighbor that walks around all night with a squeaky floor. Now I can't complain about that last part much because you should be able to walk around whenever you want and nothing can really be done about it.
In the one bedroom there is only 1 window that opens aside from the two doors without screens. Annoying yes but not that bad.
My AC this year should have been able to make it snow in my apartment with the heat wave but due to the bad walls it could only cool it down to 81 at night and I have a 15000 btu indoor AC unit. That just sucks. Not to mention in the winter don't even bother turning the heat on since the heat won't stay there longer then 5 minutes I actually had to turn it off.
The upkeep on the apartments is the worst I've seen in years and yet I moved here because they were cheap and they mean it. But there is a thing as too cheap and I've found better places at less money then I'm paying here. Now with all of these problems including the crazy dog lady coming into my place(yes I should have had her arrested)you would think any reasonable place would let you out of the lease without too much hassle since the living conditions are terrible. Nope they want to charge you all the fees they can get and then you will have to pay to (update) the apartment when you leave. But we will see how that works out when I do leave. I don't mind paying a little extra to get out but not the full amount since this place sucks.
Next is the so called weightroom, IT'S ALL BROKEN along with the hot tub now. That pool was 100 degrees when it was hot and it's not a small pool. Go figure that one a very hot pool on a hot day. Do you think that will cool you off at all''
So if they are on top of things when they break (which they are not) and get rid of the crazy neighbors with yappy dogs that everyone complains about and do some really good updates this might be a place that may be worth it. But it's not being done at all so it falls into disarray and looks like it does now. I can't even say my deck is straight. Now think about that one.
So in my opinion I would not waste your time here you can find much better else where with some management that might actually do something and a better overall apartment like the other ones I've found for less. Without the crazy dog lady
