We've lived here almost 3 years....and we really like it.
The grounds are kept immaculate. We see the maintenance crew out every morning walking the grounds to make sure there is no garbage or debris laying out. They even walk through with the scooper/broom to clean up any little debris.
The maintenance team is great. The management team have had a few come and go, but the newest manager, Kathy is fantastic. She was our manager at another property and I was relieved when she started here. She takes care of business. Deborah is a nice lady too. She always says hi and knows us by name.
The only part we don't like is living below a noisy family. They don't make the usual noises. We don't mind hearing walking and the occassional loud tv show as long as it isn't constant. We have "special" neighbors above us however. They would make anyone crazy. They are the 3rd set of renters upstairs and the rest were great.
We've actually made good friends with several other families in the complex. Its a family friendly place and we'd recommend it highly.
A piece of advice though...if you have hyper and loud kids, please live on the bottom floor so you don't drive other people nuts.

I totally disagree with your view on Kathy. I rented at Village at Main Street for one year. I had several issues with my rent check slowly making it through the mail and always ended up speaking with Kathy only never to be called back. I shouldn't say never. She called asking for more money just the other day. We moved out a few months ago. Management sucks at Village.

Maybe your late rent was due to the postal system (HA-HA). Had you mailed your rent ON TIME you wouldn't have had the issues in the first place. We have been at Village at Main Street for over 3 years and have never had a problem with the rent arriving timely. Don't blame your poor planning on the Manager!

Thank You ! We have had to endure this for a full year.... It has caused so much stress for my family ..... If I had known a noisy family lived above us, we'd never have stayed in this apartment......they were also allowed to destroy the grounds, and run screaming through the complex up to 10pm. Thank the lord they are now leaving............

I KNOW ALL TOO WELL THE "TORTURE" OF DISRESPECTING NEIGHBORS AND THEIR UNRULY CHILDREN IN THIS COMPLEX!!! I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I'VE CALLED IN A NOISE COMPLAINT ONLY FOR IT TO FALL ON DEAF EARS, (LIKE I AM THE ONE AT FAULT),....DOES ANYONE CARE AT THE OFFICE? I DOUBT IT...BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS HOPE SOMEONE WILL MOVE IN THAT DOES CARE AND DOESN'T HAVE KIDS...I AGREE, NO CHILDREN SHOULD BE ON THE TOP FLOORS FOR SAFETY REASONS AND OUT OF COURTESY OF YOUR NEIGHBORS!!!!!! WHY CAN'T THIS COMPLEX HAVE AN ADULT SECTION AND ONE FOR FAMILIES?? WHAT A CONCEPT!! I GUESS IT'S BETTER TO RENT A TOWNHOME, IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT, JUST TO GET AWAY FROM CARELESS NEIGHBORS....AT LEAST YOU'RE GUARNTEED A PLACE TO PARK (IN YOUR GARAGE)...
