I have never had the displeasure of working with a property management company such as Affinity for the Village at Main Street. BALLY'S DOES NOT MEAN THAT MUCH TO ME..
to have to put up with the lack of professionalism, manners and down right RUDENESS from what they consider "Representatives" for their organization. If these people were to represent my company accordingly NO ONE WOULD HAVE A JOB!! I would personally fire EVERYONE on the spot (OR is an "At Will" state). My roommate and I visited the establishment after finding them in the "For Rent" magazine and paid a visit (hind sight - wish we wouldn't have) from day 1 it seemed to be a dissaster. Representative had "virtigo", took 9 days for the application process (including lack of returned phone calls from the Village). After they misquoted our move in fee ($2500) they wanted an additional which hiked the price up to ($3000). Their mistake and they would not work with us. They actually told my roommate that "sure we will work with you, leave one of your pets at home and when you can pay the extra deposit [which WE misquoted] you can move them in). Needless to say the person was lucky to be talking to my roommate and not me. I find it VERY interesting that most of the negative write-up regarding this place has to do with their management. Maybe Affinity might want to re-think their hiring practices.

Your post doesn't make any sense. Additionally 'vertigo' is a terrible terrible thing to have, I'm sure the representative tried the best to help and even coming in while they were sick (that must have been very difficult). I live at Village at Main Street and love it!! It sounds like that representative was sick and just trying the best to get the job done. It seems like you were told something that you knew you couldn't have done anyway. Maybe you are just upset at yourself for trying to avoid paying what you owe.

You read the comments on here and STILL RENTED FROM THEM???? Had I known beforehand, that this site was available, I would have NEVER RENTED AT VMS...ESPECIALLY after the "disasterous" price mis-quotes and rudeness you had; I would have RAN..IN THE OTHER DIRECTION...and walked out WITH MY MONEY IN MY WALLET!!! Better luck NEXT TIME!!

That was our first mistake....we didn't do a background check of the property and did not know how horrible this place was and we didn't know about this site until after the process. Our Bad. Now We Know.........and yes we have had better luck. We now live at The Bluffs at Mountain Park and LOVE it.

The 9/1 posting sounds like a staff person defending there poor sevice. I too, agree. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! The sevice is horrible and no one ever answers the phone. I can NOT get a maintence person over to fix my fridge. My toilet runs non-stop and the appliances are cheap...RUN AWAY!
