The management is horrible. They will tell you one price and then give you another. One Saturday I went to drop off a rent check and the manager behind the desk didn't seem "with it". When I left, she mumbled that she was going to take a nap. As I left, I thought she was joking, however, as I walked across the street and into my car, I noticed two people knocking on the door and trying to get into the office, which according to the sign, should have been open.
As for the apartments, they are poorly maintained. The first time I asked for something small to be done, they asked, "is this the first time that you have called'" At that point, I knew that this wasn't going to be easy. You literally have to call five times to get anything done. Moreover, when they do arrive, they then makeup some excuse for why they can't do it then and that they will have to come back. Also, they can be very rude and mean
As for the noise, you can call and complain about parties (outside their front doors) at all hours of the night, but it is a constant problem and concern.

You must have been a "problem tenent." I've lived here for 3 years and NEVER experienced anything like you have mentioned. My rent is paid on time, as it should be, and the staff in the office are very friendly and professional, and maintence only needs to be called ONE time and they fix what needs to be fixed immediately, and correctly the first time. As far as parties are concerned unless you live in a private house with a mote surrounding it, people will have company over. Any real "party problems" have be immediately evicted from the development....perhaps you were one of them? We did just have one group in the building next to mine evicted right before you wrote this comment.

I agree with happy renter. Allendale is awesome and they do so much for the community. I have only had to cal once per problem and everyone is very personable

I lived there from May 1991 to January 1993 in a 3 br townhouse with 2 roommates. I LOVED IT. Everything was properly maintained, our unit was clean, well kept and it had new carpeting. If I ever found myself renting again, I would definitely consider Allendale.
