Livin' Large For A Small Price

Bridgeview is absolutely THE BEST apartment value in the Lehigh Valley. There's a very New York flavor that carries through to each unit: 10-foot living room ceilings, European kitchen and bath, and in many units, a fantastic view of the Allentown skyline, which kinda looks like a scale model of New York's.

Bridgeview is a late '80s factory renovation that's absolutely stuffed with amenities. You get an indoor basketball/volleyball court, two tennis courts (one concrete, one clay), a fitness center, a pool (small because the concrete tennis court is next to it), CalSpa hot tub and sauna. Even the studio apartments have their own washer and dryer, dishwasher and disposal. Ranges are self-cleaning. There's a heat lamp in the bathroom. Central air' Yup. And let's not forget dry-cleaning service and package acceptance. Garage parking and storage rooms will cost you a little extra. Club room is available at a very reasonable price for your event. A phone intercom system lets your guests come in and marvel but keeps out the riff-raff.

The units themselves are bright and airy - one living room wall is almost all glass, with a slider the opens to a nice-sized balcony. The bedroom window runs all the way across one wall.

Everything is in terrific shape. Appliances are like new. Maintenance is unbelievable. I had a leak under my sink one night. I called the office about it the next morning, and came home to a newly-installed disposal THAT AFTERNOON. Let's see YOUR apartment do that!

A landscaping company plows the lots in winter. They do a really nice job. Too bad the road department doesn't do that for the street we're on.

Downsides' Besides the unplowed street, not much. Electric bills can get a little high in winter since the heat, hot water, range and dryer are all electric. Washer is a little small. Some people complain about the speed of the elevators but they do the job. But all in all, it's very hard to go wrong by checking into all that Bridgeview has to offer.
