I lived here for a year and a half, and after taking a new job, needed to move out of state. During my walkthrough when I was moving out, I was told that I would get my full security deposit. I even have documentation proving this. A few weeks later, I received a check for $150 less than I was owed. When I contacted management about this, they vowed to get it fixed and that I would get my remaining deposit. That converation happened 14 months ago. I've called multiple times since then, and I keep getting the "parent company takes care of this" shuffle.
Bottom line, don't expect your full security deposit back (even if your apartment is spotless when you leave).
As for the building, as others have said, the neighborhood is not very nice. If I didn't have a spot in the locked parking garage, I doubt I would have ever renewed my lease. The street the building is on does not get plowed when it snows.
Long story short, the local management is very nice, but pretty impotent and the neighborhood is not somewhere I'd choose to raise children.

Hmm...I wonder how you know the local management is IMPOTENT...that's a new one I've never heard before. Maybe they used your security deposit to buy Extenze! MRMET02...I would proofread VERY carefully before you post on here again...otherwise people might not take your reviews seriously!

Wow, Mr. Anonymous is a big man! Why is it always the uninformed that feel the need to correct the informed? Do you know what the primary definition of the word impotent is? I'm guessing not. Impotent means "not potent: lacking in power, strength, or vigor" And that is exactly what I meant. My God you're an idiot. But what should I expect from a loser who gets his kicks from flaming people on the Apartment Ratings message boards?
