only 1 office person who does not know much of anything (not a licensed leasing agent either); residents get tricked into signing lease and into understanding lease terms; poorly lit near outside walkways leading to street and same for parking; no outside railings; not enough maintenance staff; not handicap accessible; no main light provided in living room (room you walk into first); small main bathroom; cheap appliances; old wiring in some apartments; whole place in need of major upgrade (same as in the 1970s); if you are in building 1166 on the back side (technically on Washington Ave.), the township does not plow the whole road since it is a "no outlet" so it is often extremely icy; sometimes hard to find parking near your building; friendly maintenance person; make sure all requests are done in writing (i.e. such as maintenance); not enough salt laid out after snow/ice/related comes; TV, phone, and internet often get interference from hospital; slow to get hot water; misleading contests held; windows don't keep in heat very well; mail carrier gives residents wrong mail sometimes; not much more to say.... you probably get the picture.

You must not be seeing this place for what it really is, or you just have an out-of-the-ordinary and decent apartment.

I disagree with this post. I have been living at Madison at Cedar Glen for almost two years and enjoy it tremendously. The floor plans are HUGE and they have full size washers and dryers, which most places around here don't- believe me I looked. They also allow my 50 pound dog, which I like as well. Also, you can't beat the convenient location. I have no problem with my internet or cable, but don't have a phone. I find the staff very friendly and helpful. Both maintenance and the office lady. They even hold FREE bus trips to Atlantic City and New York for the residents. Last year I won a $50 gift card for participating and winning one of their contests. I would definitely recommend Cedar Glen to anyone.
