Girlfriend's car has been broken into twice in 6 months, so I'm moving out. Her car was parked on a main street. We've stayed up all night to see if police actually patrol the area and they don't. A number of other tenants have also had their cars broken into. Also, the extra storage in the basements gets broken into regularly, so you can't store anything of any value there.
The apartments are cheap, the people who live there are nice, maintenance is quick to respond, and my appliance were very nice. Unfortunately, I cannot live in fear of being robbed.
