What a Disaster

lived in a townhouse close to Tilghman St. very quiet when windows closed. Beutiful surroundings...NOW about the house; it was a disaster. When we viewed and signed the lease we were promised that the carpeting would be renewed since it was very dated and stained. When we moved in, we were told that the carpet was not yet done but will definitely be finished within the next week...it was still there when we moved. Within two weeks of moving in the ceiling started leaking from the washer upstairs, we notified managment, they promised to come. Three weeks later the ceiling ripped open, dumping water unto my dinning room set and a portion of my living room sofa. I called emergency maintenance, one guy came and said he could do nothing until the next day. they then replaced the washer...the ceiling was still ripped when we left a year later. My home got broken into we complained both to the cops and to management. No one bothered. Cops came asked if I had kids, (yes) said kids friends probably did it and left never to return. Management didn't show up at all. Bedroom AC was a joke. Central air and heat created sizable bill but never provided adequate heat or air. Appartment glitches required multiple calls to management before work order sent to maintenance. Like I said beautiful on the outside think twice, like trice before you sign the lease.
