I have to say that as far as Allentown apartments go the Regency Towers are better than average....however...there are many things that make the Regency wayyyyyy over priced, the cost of a one bedroom apartment is about the same amount you could spend to rent a 3 bedroom home. Your paying for a door person, whom I have to agree are about as useful as some random person holding the door open, with the exception of one or two....example...God forbid you accidentally lock yourself out of your apartment, who would you go to' Logic would say the door person....but noooo the door people can't actually open a DOOR! You need to put in a request for the maintnance person to come and open the door...for a fee of 25.00. That's if you can get a hold of them on the weekend...other wise good luck. Roaches EVERYWHERE. They migrate from apartment to apartment. When you go to the laundry room they're there doing laundry right beside you. Stink bugs! Oh yeah they're there too hanging out with the roaches. And those crazy old fashioned air conditioners are either way too cold or broken, the same goes for the heat....Nothing like waking up feeling like you have a cold every morning, or even better a bloody nose. Paper thin walls, to the point where every neighbor thinks they know your business. And wait....that's not all folks....you also get to have maintnance men coming in and out of a storage room downstairs at odd hours, looking EXTREMELY suspicious. Not the type of people you would trust to have in your home, or have keys to your home when you are not around, or around. On the good side...the veiw is great, nice pool, a convenient work out room, and lots of closet space.....is it worth the high rent wich also suspicially gets lost, so you can pay an EXTRA 25.00 on top of the high cost, at least every other month'
