Strange living arrangements

I lived at the Regency for just over 1 year and saw things that you only see in movies.
I am going to bypass the statements about the roaches, mice, broken down elevators, mold, stench, heating problems, dryer w/ no vent in apartments, lost rent checks, useless door people and maintence and missing belongings. I'm going to get right down to the strange goingons.

The Regency has 2 storage rooms where the tenants are able to store their belongs that clutter the apartments , such as xmas decorations. They are located on the Health Club floor. Belongings are constantly missing from storage room 1, however storage room 2 seems to be housing some of the maintance people. They are going in and out of that room all day and night. I find it strange to see a half naked man out side that door at 2am banging for someone to let him in. In the mornings when I would be leaving for work, numerious times I caught several different men exiting that storage room while they were still dressing themselves. When they realized I was there they would run back inside a if I didn't just see them just like the rest of the roaches in the building. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed this. There are two scummy looking "maintenance men" (and I use that term lightly because they spent more time walking around the building and entering apartments at all hours of the day) who I have seen entering these rooms. I never put anything in them because I have things stolen from my apartment, who knows what they would do if I had things down there.

Amazing, this building was all the rage when I lived in Allentown from 1978 - 1982. Everyone who lived there thought they were fabulous - NYC like highrise, etc. I visited someone who I knew that lived there there once and it was like an overpriced Manhattan cookie cutter apt, nothing special at all - no charm whats-so-ever. It now sounds like a dump. I moved back to NY in 1982 and buildings like Regency Towers are a dime a dozen in Manhattan, they can't rent them or give the units away.
