Cheaply outfitted; Maintenance bad.

Given the price of rent, the apartments are cheaply outfitted, e.g., washer, cabinets, fixtures, carpet, etc.
Maintenance is shoddy and slow. When I moved in it took me several weeks to convince the staff that my bedroom carpet reeked of urine. It took more than week to get the workmen out to replace the carpet. They forgot to carpet the closet but re-did the hallway instead, which now does not match the rest of the carpet in the apartment.
