I love living at Riverbend but I have to say that it has gone down hill in the last couple of years. The last group of managers that took care of us left a lot to be desired. However, Jackie is such a step in the right direction. She is always pleasent and such a dream to work with. There are other people working in the office but the only 2 that I know are Jackie and Louie. Can't say anything bad about the others as I do not know them. They have always been quick to fix something that is broken. However, I have lived here at least 18 years and I have had to fight to get my apartment painted. Previous managers just refused to have it painted and wanted me and my husband to pay for the tarps. If you are hiring professional painters, they should have their own supplies. However, those managers have left and we again have the pleasure of working with Jackie. My only other problem is that I had to upgrade my security deposit. According to the law, after 5 years they cannot raise your security deposit but I had to or be evicted. There is a resident that lives under me who has made the grounds what they are today. One of the comments on this website stated how nice the grounds are. Well you can thank him for that. He is always trying to do good by the tennets but seems to be stopped at every corner. The cabina at the pool is his doing, the plants at the pool is also his doing as well as the nice pond. Now, since he has stopped doing these things, nothing is as great as it was. I think Emess Management should hire him to be the grounds keeper and we would once again have beautiful landscaping to look at. He was responsible for the yard sale this past spring as well as many other things that bring a smile to the face of the tennets. What happend to the parties we use to have at the pool during the summer' However, this is just my opinion but all in all Riverbend is a good place to live. Must be, I've been here almost 18 years

What are your electric bills like there in the winter and summer? Do you have a 1 or 2 bedroom?
