I have read prior comments regarding this complex. I can tell you I agree with some of them. I am a handicap individual and lived there for one year. I quickly moved when my lease was up. Although I personally had no flooding problems, my sisters and two friends lived there as well. They had numerous problems as well. Dealing with management there is no picnic. Complaints are not addressed and if you're persistant enough management will send you letters stating other tenants are complaining about odors, noise, etc. from your apartment and threaten to take you to court. My personal complaint was handicap parking was never enforced. Although the space was clearly marked and my car identified as handicap, a handicap space would never be available. On an almost daily basis, I called the local police department to report illegally parked cars b/c management would never enforce the parking. They stated they would hand out memos to tenants, but none were ever issued. I endured this throughout my stay there. During this time, my personal mail was tampered with. My mailbox was pryed open and my mail found in the bushes outside. I notified the post office as this is a federal offense. My car was tampered with, a plastic table shoved into the wheel well of my car. My husband's car was broken into (rear window smashed). I spoke to the maintenance man (Sye or Sai) whoever, and he stated he didn't give a F**K if I was handicap or not, he wouldn't help me after management told me he would be surveying the apartment parking for compliancy. We found the maintenance man roaming our apartment at 7am while we were still sleeping. One of the windows to my apartment was tampered with. Nothing was ever fixed during my stay there. And I do mean NOTHING!! My sister endured, drug dealings in her building, bullets found near her car, furniture under water, sewage in her kitchen, tripped circuits, water logged cabinetry, severely dated appliances (sometimes not working). Think more than twice before you live here.
