My first month there seemed Ok. I had no major issues,with the exception of the noise level. Allentown Business Students rent out apartments here. Then at the beginning of the second month, what do I come home and find' Bugs-No, Mouse-No, I found BATS!!! I had Bats in my apartment!!!! Flying around! I called the "24 hour maintenance" and they told me that they were in bed and were not going to take care of my problem. They said that I would survive until the morning!!! I had to call animal control, which was closed! I was transfered to the police who came with the fire department to remove the wild animals! By the way, they got in through a hole in the wall in my coat closet. After my bat incident things went down hill. The ceiling above my toilet leaked from the toilet upstairs and it took them over a week to come in a look at it and a week later to fix it. Needless to say, I moved into a new apartment. But the saga doesn't end there! I have been out of my apartment for 8 weeks and I still have yet to get my security deposit back! I call and no one knows what's going on and this is at their corporate office!

The end to my story, Don't live here it isn't worth it!

I currently live in South Mountain while attending Lehigh Valley College (formerly Allentown Business School). I had an apartment that was filled with cockroaches and ants. The Maintenance are very slow. It took six weeks until they came and fixed the tiles located by the bathtub. I will will stay until Dec. 23 because I will be done with school. I definitely don't recommend South Mountain. Some people get into arguments while I am trying to study. Give me a break. I need to study.
