Yo!

Not bad

The rent is cheaper than others in the area and that's why I chose it since I'm still in school. It's really close to a lot of great things...24 hour grocery stores, malls, restaurants, I-78/309, etc. The neighborhood isn't too bad. You get some creeps in all apartment complexes and it's Allentown so it's not like everyone is going to be upper-class anyway. But for the price, it's not too bad. I pay $700/mo for a one bedroom and it's not the upgraded one.

The kitchen is really small. That's my major complaint. It's an older kitchen but everything works and when my garbage disposal broke, they fixed it the same day. The rest of the apartment has been fine for me-you get stinkbugs here and there but that's a regional issue, not the apartment complex's fault.

The leasing office has been great-I haven't had any problems. The manager and the others there are really nice. Maintenance is also great for the most part.

I have a neighbor who is loud but I can't really hear much when I shut my door-it's only in the hallway.

Since it's the winter, a complaint I have is that they do a horrible job with snow removal. They didn't have the streets plowed until way after the fact and now it's all ice. They didn't clear it at all. They also don't clean the hallways/stairways well. I don't use the laundry facility downstairs because it's sketchy looking but at least it's there if you want it. There are tons of laundry facilities nearby that are 24 hours. They also have storage for free down in the laundry room, which is great. Closet space isn't bad in the apartment but if you have boxes and stuff you don't want to keep, you can throw them in a good-sized storage facility downstairs.

Overall, not a bad place. I'm moving out when my lease is up just because I'm not from the area and miss where I grew up. But for the price and location, it's not bad at all.
