The apartment looks nice but there are no upgrades other than the fireplace. The carpeting is poor quality, the appliances are base model, the cabinets are flimsy, the window treatments are cheap plastic blinds, the bathroom is large but everything is basic...it's really nothing special at all for a lot of money. The apartment is only a year old and already showing signs of wear. The construction noise is never-ending, starting at 7 am until 5 pm 6 days a week for over a year and will continue til god knows when. The parking is already tight with 4 more buildings to be occupied. I don't see where everyone is going to park once all the apts are up. The noise level is pretty bad. You can hear televisions, music, and loud talking from neighboring apartments above, below, and on the same level next door. The snow removal last winter was pitiful even though we barely had any snow , nothing at all was done for at least 24 hours and even then the walkways and stairs in the breezeways was untouched. The pool is still not built so for early residents, this is the second summer without a pool as advertised. The rent went up around 6% the first year which is noticeable when it starts out so high to begin with. The utilities are higher than in the previous development I lived in and my apartment there was much bigger. There seems to be a high turnover already. The only reason I would recommend the complex is location, which is the only reason I am still here. Some of the office staff is helpful and some isn't, pretty much the same as anywhere else you go.
