Stop Complaining

I live in the new construction, and love my apartment. I often hear people complaining about the community when I am in the fitness center. I moved here from a house where I only had street parking, I would like to see some of these people deal with street parking,so what if I have to walk a few steps to my apartment, it is better than driving around town for 20minutes because there is not one place left to park. As far as noise from constuction, you might have that anywhere you live, and did you not know that you were moving into construction' Yes, it is true, you can hear the neighbors, this is apartment living. I can hear my neighbors, but that means they can hear me too, so I do little things like take my shoes off, and close doors gently.
We did not have a pool on our side this summer, but we were allowed to use the pool on the other side. The pool was great, I love that I am near the park, and really love being so close to Wegmans.
I have never had an issue with the staff and I feel good when I am approaching the community, because it looks so great.
Maybe I should note that because I have a life, I do not have time to sit at home and find things wrong with my surroundings and then go take it out on someone in the office.

By saying that people should just shut up about all the problems is acknowledging they do exist, which is the only helpful part about this post.

Merely because you lived in a shabby place and neighborhood before is no excuse for Trexler Park to become like one. You do agree to the issues continuing at Trexler Park and maybe some day the staff would learn to treat you like one who should get her value for money rather than one who has an unpleasant past housing experience and should feel grateful that we are giving her these; she is never used to such facilities anyways !!!

I do not understand what all the complaints are about, period. When we moved here we realized that this is obviously a property that is still in the throws of construction. Rome was not built in a day....someone cannot wiggle their nose and make the buildings and pool, etc. appear miracously, when you build things there is going to be dust and times that we have to deal with being inconvienced. If you didn't want something brand new, why didn't you get an apartment that was built some time ago? I think they are doing a fine job, and once everything is done, we will be living in the best place in Allentown!

Just to be clear. I did not live in a shabby place or neighborhood prior, and I am use to "such facilities". Don't assume what you do not know. Yes, I do acknowledge what could be considered issues, but when I call to ask why something is being done, I have been given a resonable answer for any concerns that I have had. I do not feel that the staff has ever treated me like anything less than a valued resident.

Maybe the new construction has better sound insulation. In the older apartments you can hear everything going on outside. Someone in our building has a BMW with an alarm that goes off everytime it rains and they just let it go off all night. I can deal with the tv from the next apartment and even the snoring I can hear, what bothers me is the extreme creaking from the people walking around upstairs from 11PM to 2AM. I kid you not, it sounds like our ceiling is going to cave in. - Like I said, maybe it is better in the new construction.

Gee, I hope it wasn't my BMW. The four way flashers had a defective switch, and the lights went on and off without warning or control.Rain had nothing to do with the problem so I may be off the hook here. Rest assured I replaced the switch and disappointed26 should be enjoying a better quality of life as I write this. If any other tennants would like to stick me with a fork, please post your request at this site, and I will courteously make arrangements with you.
