While there may be worse apartments around I have not seen any. I think the worst problem that this place has is the management, especially the manager. He thinks he is GOD and when he talks to people it is like he is the greatest and you are nothing. He reminds me of the school yard bully, when he thinks he has the upper hand he will only talk down to you, but if you stand up to him he runs away to hide from you and if he sees you he will do anything to get away. The maintenance people seem to be trying but if you call in a work request in all likely hood it will be thrown away, or he will try to bully you into not submitting it. And your security is money thrown down the drain as he will find something to keep it and try to get more out of you. One of his tricks is to charge a maintenance fee. A little while ago they installed door locks which is part of the building but in his little mind the tenants have to pay for the locks, even though there is nothing in the lease. I have lived in apartments for the last 20 years and this is the worst, the buildings need work on the walls and the roof. The paint is pealing and the walls need paint, but he will try to get the tenants to pay for that I am betting. If you live on the third floor at least you don't hear the people over you walking around or playing there stereo or TV as the walls are thin. If you have allergies don't move in here there is a major mold problem because the pipes leak, and the condensation from the air conditioners run down the inside of the wall. But management only fixes the leaks when the pipe breaks and the water is coming down on someones head. What every you do don't believe the, show apartment is anything like the one you will get, they are past masters of the old bate and switch when it comes to apartments.. While I have lived here for a number of years this is the worst I have ever seen the place, it reminds me of the movies where the management is a New York slum lord, and he just dumps on the tenants. There is a plus side to this place it is close to a food market and it has off street parking.
