Lived in 2443 building, disaster- safety, health, & construction. Lived there 18yrs (forced to because disabled and could not afford to move out. Also had Service Dog and this is the only apartment complex that allows dogs). MOLD everywhere, black, with dead animals in walls,mice,squirrels,etc.Caused severe lung/resiratory problems.
A stagnant swamp (literally) lies beside the building that is filled with black, foul smelling water. Raw sewage also is in the water. Broken water & sewage pipes cause leakage to run down the walls (not just the 2443 building, but every building;
the 2435 building had Urine dripping out of the hallway light fixture) A large sink-hole is forming in front of the building- cars that park nearby cause the pavement to drop. No sidewalks - must walk in road to get mail (boxes moved from building to end of complex). Got hit by car in 2004 and 1st service dog died. Management didn't care! Wife fell in laundry room (leaking waterpipe flooded floor) and she struck her head on concrete floor resulting her to become paralysed on hr right side (6/07). The final breaking point was the toilet leaking in the apartment above (for 1 1/2yrs)
that the management would not repair!! There was 3 inches of RAW SEWAGE on the bathroom foor and bedroom carpet. Finally moved becaused nothing was corrected and developed severe health problems and doctors ORDERED me to move!! DO NOT LIVE HERE. most tennents are there only 1 year if that that can afford to move. Some "long-time" residents and now moving out (after 5-12 yrs living there because everything is getting so bad).

I know who you guys are. You may not have had so much mold if you weren't packrats and you would have cleaned your place once in a while. Other than that, I totally agree with you. I really liked you guys and when I moved back into my old apartment I was saddened that you left (you left right before I moved back in). Park Run now bought the complex from Camelot and this place is changing already. They just got done knocking every single wall out of your apartment because they were so full of mold. They also are replacing all the roofs on the buildings. Anyway, as much as I love my apartment (affectionately named "The Swamp", because all of my buddy centipedes) they really should just forget about fixing them, have a big implosion ceremony and start from scratch. I miss you guys. Hopefully you will do better where you are now.
