Manager told us that they will change the carpet before we move in. We signed the lease and on the day of the move-in we realized that they had not changed the carpet. The biege colored carpet looked almost grey and was completely worn out. When we confronted the manager she was very rude and hung up the phone on me. I even complained to their main office (in Philadelphia) but didn't get a response from there either.
Also, on one instance I forgot to sign my rent check and she mailed us a rude notice to mail a signed check or else she will have to evict us for not paying the rent.
Security is very poor. There is no lock on the main door of the apartment and anyone can walk up to your apartment and open the flimsy locks.
Maintenace crew is incompetent - there was a drainage leak in the bathroom because of which it used to smell a lot and they were not able to fix that problems (we had to live in an apartment with a stinking bathroom for a year).
