Watch out for the BS

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
We rented at Presidential Arms from 2003 to 2005. At the time we moved in, we thought it was the best value in the north hills. By the time we moved out, it most definately was not. Some positives about the place include the parking, there is always ample parking right outside your apartment. Snow removal in the winter was pretty good as well. There are a lot more negatives to talk about. First of all, the final straw in making our decision on leaving was when the complex informed us by mail with just 2 months remaining on our lease that rent was increasing by $30.00 a month. The place is not very secure. There are no locks on the front doors to the building. One night, we wee sleeping, and someone was trying to get in the front door to our apartment. They damaged the door and I found out that they had just moved in and did not know what building they lived in. The office staff found the situation to be comical and no big deal. I would like to see if they found it funny if the same thing happened to them. Also, there are a lot of scary people who live here. One guy avoids saying hi at all costs, while another upstairs stares at people out of his window. With very little positives, this is not a place to rent. If you want dormatory life, go back to college. You will see identical buildings and probably less drug use.
