I lived at Edgewood for a year until I relocated out of state. I really liked living there.

Pros:
- spacious apartment
- huge closets
- lots of natural light
- 1.5 baths in a 1 BR
- heat & hot water included in very low rent
- building manager (Lane) very nice and quick to respond to problems
- gas stove is very nice
- newer appliances
- elevator (it's a little old and makes noises, but it works)
- balcony
- nice area with very close proximity to restaurants, stores, mall, etc.

Cons:
- my kitchen sink leaked the whole time I lived there; they weren't able to figure out how to fix it
- hideous pink tile in the main bath
- I had a mold problem in the bathroom because there was no ventilation fan
- my neighbors were very noisy children who constantly ran screaming through the hallway
- the dishwasher didn't work very well; it was the only old appliance in the kitchen
- the balconies and hallways could use a coat of paint

thank you. mold and leaks are important to know about and other than on online rating system, i don't how i would find this out until after moving in.

There are fans in the bathrooms and they do the job if they work. If they don't work you need to call the office and let them know so it can be fixed. It is easy for mold to grow without ventilation. As for leaks, many apartments have leaks; there is nothing that can really prevent all of them. The important point is, do they get fixed right away. From my experience, leaks take top priority.

That's interesting - I live in Building C and I wouldn't call the closets "huge" and I definitely only have one bathroom - with leaking faucets that were supposed to be fixed months ago.
