I've been a mostly happy tenant for three years, going into my fourth. While I have my gripes (no property management company or apartment building is flawless), I would recommend this property to anyone. I've lived in a lot of apartment buildings in NYC and Philadephia, and for a comfortable middle-class budget, this building is excellent. In my experience, HR is professional, responsive to tenant requests -- e.g. making timely repairs -- , keeps the premises very clean, pest-free and in good shape, and places a high priority on "customer service" with the tenants. HR wants their tenants to be happy and they work hard to keep it that way. I've been a good tenant for 3 years and when I recently, suddenly hit upon hard times, HR worked with me to come to a mutually beneficial, temporary solution so that I wouldn't have to immediately move out of the apartment that I've enjoyed living in for three years. I hope to stay indefinitely. The location of the building near Suburban Square and the R5 cannot be beat, the apartments (especially the southern facing ones) are quiet and very light-filled and the hallways and basement are pleasant (unlike a lot of older buildings in the area).
