I moved in when Metropolitan Management Corp. ran the show and the service, cleanliness, and upkeep were outstanding. Pearl properties does little or no maintainence - ever. This goes for clearing sidewalks and general upkeep. Many elderly people live in the apartments and this is an obvious hazard. They, of course, raised the already high rent after rent agreements had been signed (I was forced to pay more mid-way through my lease). They do not send a rent statement - and try to do a google search for Pearl Properties to find where to send your rent check. DO NOT LIVE HERE. A year ago, I would have reccomended it highly, despite the high price, but the management has done a terrible disservice to the property.
Oh, and another thing, the lights by the entrance doors were out for a matter of weeks before anyone bothered to fix them. That is just poor.

The place really did go downhill when Pearl took over. MMC was really on top of their game, where Pearl just obviously doesn't care. Its amazing how much of a difference a management company can make.
