I don't think you could ask for a worse situation. At first, it seems like a really nice place to live. It is usually very quiet and close to the Main line. However, I completely regret ever living there. I had made an oral agreement (my first mistake) with the land lady about paying the rent every two weeks because it worked better for me. She said she was completely fine. Then I would get all these charges for late fee even though I had given her the money on time as per our agreement. She would tell me to place the rent in the box and then "forget" that we discussed me leaving it there. She would also call 100 times saying the rent was late when it was right in front of her face.

My ceiling started to leak from the bathroom above me and it was never fixed. I had to move my bed away from the wall and the paint started to bubble. Took pictures of it and I am considering filing a complaint. Also, when I first moved in the bottom lock on the door was broken. It was never fixed. The old handy man never fixed anything.

Also, was charged for cleaning oven, refridge, cabinents, counters, floors, windows, etc. about $600 even though I cleaned.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!
