It's OK

It's not so bad here. I moved here in 2008. The place was a little bit run down when my husband and I moved in. Also the front doors on the building don't have locks. Makes me a little bit uncomfortable. For the $715 a month we pay, heat and hot water should be included. After my $100 electric bill it would have been cheaper to live in Media (away from all the trailer parks.) They have a rebate for your electric bill where if it's over $100 they will pay the rest, (up to $75.) So that helps. Also rent should pay for a storage space in the basement. But some renters like to take up three spaces and leave you with nothing. They should be assigned.
Enough about the bad. It's quiet. Sounds like any other apartment building. You will hear your neighbors t.v. once in a while, or the people who live overhead. No big deal. Also the apartments are really big for what you pay. Nice size living room with a big picture window, and a large bedroom. The kitchen is kind of small but it was "redone" when we moved in. (New countertops.)
The carpet is nice too. Not cheap like I expected. No bugs or cockroaches or wierd rodents. The neighbors are kind of wierd. And the trailer park up the street really creeps me out

I've lived here for over 5 years, and I have never seen a trailer park near Brandywine Manor Apartments. Brandywine Manor has an exceptional experience for its tenants. From picturesque pink and white dogwood tree lined sidewalks with antique style street lamps, to a rainbow of pansies lining the driveways, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful here. There are people of every age, race and size, and all of them work hard to contribute to this community. I agree that I wish there were locks on the building doors, but there has never been any repercussions because of that fact. Everyone is alert and if anyone needs anything, someone is there to help. The management and maintenance staff are top notch. Brandywine has never been run down. If anything, it's the best apartment complex you could ever have in this price range in this area.
