Poor venting, poor maintanance, poor management, poor heating system, poor piping system, great outside overview.

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2002
Lived there for 3 years, loved it initially - hated it shortly after.
The maintance was poor though 24hours service were available.
Rent went up so often and nothing was done to improve the apartments.
If you showered no one could use the kitchen tap or a neighbour flash the toilet - because the hot water was gone. By the way - the water temperature was too hot - you have to be careful - you'd burn yourself or kids.
Heating costs and hot water costs are excluded and they are unbelivable.
The partitioning was too thin - you heard all your neighbours business.
The windows are old - draft was the order of the day.
The mold and mildew in the bathroom was unbelievable.
The 4 years I lived there - they never changed a thing in that apartment - though the carpet was used when we moved in.
The outside looks great - but the inside is a shame.
