Very quiet, single story apartments in many clusters of buildings. My apartment was in tip-top shape upon move-in. The area is very safe and the apartments are up on a hill so it is well isolated from noise aside from the aircraft landing at Beaver County Airport. Very convenient freeway access to PA-60, and the aviation center at BVI.
I have no complaints about York Square. My 1-bedroom was very spacious with a nice full-size fridge and an older, but still functional stove. Nice utility room with space for full-sized washer dryer. Noise was non-existant. I wish the electric heating/AC unit was a little more efficient, as heating bills in the winter can get pretty steep, so buy some sweaters! Management was great, always willing to help.
Quite a few of the residents are aviation students at CCBC, but they seem to be well-mannered for the most part.
