Despite reading all the great reviews at AptRatings.com about this referral service, the staff was not all that optimistic in helping me. I spoke directly with the owner Henry Berks and he was very skeptical on being to able to help me given my "situation" - (messy financial divorce). He said that with the companies they work with that there were three things that they looked at - income, previous rental references, and credit report history. Once he had an idea that my divorce could have severely affected my credit rating, he became very pessimistic about being able to find me a place to rent despite the fact that I had a great paying salaried job. He basically wished me 'good luck' with the job, even though I would have to turn it down because of not finding a place to live, and gave up. He said that he would "try", but wasn't sure what he could do given the "situation". I, like many people who have reviewed here, had a very short time to find a place, 2-3 days. I don't think this service is all it seems to be based on previous reviews.
