The good- maybe I am just fortunate, but I can hear a pin drop where I live. My neighbors are quiet although if they weren't, I am sure I would hear everything (the walls are a bit thin). They fix things very quickly. I had a few ants in my bathroom and they came out the next day to spray and now they are gone. The pool, gym and free breakfast is very nice when I have the time to use it. I am a single woman and feel safe here. I find it peaceful.They allow all pets here and do not charge a monthly rent for them (although do charge a deposit).
The bad-Trouble with these centipede bugs in the summer, even though they do spray. Overpriced-If you go with one of their updated apartments, you are paying 100 bucks more a month- which for these prices you shouldn't have to live with 70's or 80's appliances and cabinets or be told you have to give them money to change it. They charge 30 dollars a month extra for digital cable, which is a great deal if you want the cable like I do, but I know not everyone wants it. If your apartment is not near the samples the outside lights tend to go out and it takes a LONG time for them to fix it. Also, the landscaping other than near the samples is virtually nothing. They do not vacuum or clean the common lobby areas for the 4 apartments. I should not have to vacuum or dust a common area that I am sure they do by the samples.
The neighbors, while quiet, aren't overly friendly and some will just look at you and keep walking which I find to be odd. Not that I am here to make friends, but if I was from another area relocating, I wouldn't find this to be too welcoming. That is probably due to the fact that they get a lot of ppl who stay short term. I like the pool in the summer but I wish they didn't open it up for the community like a community swim club. However, if you take a chair and an ipod and a book and move it away from the kiddies, it can be peaceful.
Oh the other thing that kind of irks me is that you give them money when you move in "just incase" you happen to paint your walls. They should take that money after you move out from your deposit as most people are not going to paint, and I am sure they know this and it's a way for them to rip ppl off.
I do think it is too expensive for what it is due to the age of the apartment, but all in all I recommend it if you have the money because it is better than most places out there, there are some real dumps in bensalem and this is not a dump. I love the size of my bedroom and the closet space and my balcony that is up against the trees.

scary when even a good review is negative. i can sympathize about all and much more. hard to believe theres that much worse out there.
