I have lived in Creekside for almost 11 yrs and I have got to say, since Edwin took over as manager, this place has gone down drasticly! When I first moved in, this place was great! Well not anymore! The maintenance here is TERRIBLE! And the good ones always leave! JL left, Dwight left and now I hear that the only good maintenance left (Rapheal) is leaving too! I cant blame them though...they get no break on the rent, no benefits or anything! And then they get treated like poop! The laundry mat here sucks...NEVER any hot water. And once I found a condom (used at that) on the floor next to the washer! Then they charge you $3.00 to purchase the card to run the machines. They dont accept coins. And when u do finally go to do the wash, good luck finding a washer or dryer that works! Your best bet is to go to the shopping center to Dee's laundry mat. They have fans and TV's to watch while waiting for your clothes. Now getting to the people. The people here are of mixed races, mainly white, black, spanish,russian and Indian. Thats a great thing. Most of the Indian's are very rude. They stare at you non stop! The Mexican's make cat noises or blow kisses at you and your kids! My daughter was walking to the bus stop (book bag on her back, so u know she's still young), but that didnt make any difference to them, they still make cat noises or say nasty things to her! Even when I approached them, they act like they dont understand english! Which most of them dont. I dont even think they have green cards. And they live 10 deep in 1 apt. The kids in here are VERY BAD! My car has about 4 dents in it and about 8 big scratches in it (my car is 2 yrs old). Mine is not the only one! My neighbors who live up stairs park in the front of the complex and walk to the back of the complex because their car has been vandalized to many times. They raise the rent every 6 months which would be fine if they actually did something in here! Now we have to pay for heat! Yeah, pay for heat when the windows have no caulking around them and cold air comes in and hot air in the summer. Forget it if it rains. My kitchen windows leak so bad that my floor is bubbling! I have called them for the last few months to come and caulk my windows and I am still waiting! I really cant wait to get out of here! I have been saving to move out of here and to buy my own house because what they want for rent her, I can be paying on a mortgage. It's just now worth it for me anymore. This place sucks and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone!
