let's see where to begin..... the apartment itself is not bad. I have had very few maintenence problems. The one thing I cant stand are how big the windows are on the 1st fl apts!! Who thought this was a good idea''' It is FREEZING in here during the winter. I have to keep the heat so high in order to keep it fairly warm in here. This of course then puts my gas bill into the 100's.
The parking sucks. If I come home any later than 8 I have to park a mile a way which sucks if you have groceries and a 2 year old to carry.
I hate the trash situation-the fact that I have to DRIVE my trash to a compacter is very inconvenient. Especially when you live in the back part of a courtyard and your car is far away to begin with (that is if you get a spot-if not its even further.) Then you get yelled at if you put it on your back porch until you have enough hands to carry it and your baby to your car.
The people in the leasing office are nice. The ones in the management are okay-it depends on the day
Oh and they have decided to install these very bright lights in every courtyard which is fine for safety but not so much if you are the apartment that it shines right into.
I think I pay a little to much to live here but what can you do'
If you can afford something else I would go there but if you cant find something else and are in a hurry (which is what happened to me) then go for it!

We are all about you! Nothing can be done about the building design but hopefully, your new windows will lower your bills this year! I agree that there are four buildings out of twenty five that have limited parking space and sometimes it is inconvenient! When the property was built in the 1970's, there were less cars per apartment. Regarding the compactors, please think about the alternative. As we are a large community, trash dumpsters (estimating 75 would be needed) would absorb double that amount in parking spaces and would diminish the look of your home. Our groundskeeper is authorized to notify any resident (in writing) to remove any trash from patio's or balcony's. Leaving trash and garbage outside attracts "unwanted" animals and rodents. If someone has "yelled" at you, please call our office to report that person as that behavior is unacceptable. We have installed one courtyard light this year. If the light is shining into your window, please contact maintenance and they will adjust it for you. |
