Franklin commons is NOT worth the money.
Make sure you insist on seeing the apartment you will be renting BEFORE SIGING YOUR LEASE. They false advertise also. Make sure you get everything in writing and question them about what may seem too good to be true. For instance, they advertise NEW windows. Well, there are 25 buildings and over 200 apartments. ALL, but 1 building (10 apartments) got new windows and screen doors. Can we say Cheap' I don't live in the apartments that did not receive the new windows (thank goodness, because at least now my energy bill is reasonable), but know 3 sets of residensce that currently live there and stated that when they moved in, they were informed that they were getting new windows.

Also, when I first moved here, they informed us that they run all the appliances, Heater and Airconditioner to ensure they run properly. Well, we moved in Nov. when the warmer months came we began to run our Air. Well, hours passed and it never got below 80. The air kept running and we called maintance numerous times. Mind it was already 105 degrees outside. When Maintnace finaly came, they informed us that their was a hole in our system and they would have to replace it. Okay, that took 2 weeks. Finally when we got our bill it was over 200 dollars and Franklin commons did not reinburse us for the electricty THEIR broken airconditioner sucked up!
Dont' really care to comment on the office staff. everyone has a different experince.

You can hear everything, even your neighbors sneezing.

If you are going to pay this much money, find a private residence in Yardley with two beds, two baths and worth the money!

Well before you talk crap, get your facts straight.. Franklin commons has over 750 apartments. not 200.. so 1 building is going to have to wait for the windows.. its not like mcdonalds where you have a drive through.. would you rather the people installing the windows do a half assed job, think about it, then your energy bill would have been higher.. from what i have read, it looks like the people complaining have nothing else better to do.. this place is nice, you have your own entrances, the staff is nice, maintenance never took longer than 1 day to complete my work needed done.. now if they were majicians i would expect them to take a second and run right over.. and in apartments anywhere you can hear your neighbors.. let me make a prediction, when you move into another apt, something will be wrong with that too..

i wonder what staff you were dealing with to describe them as "wonderful". Humm....are you sure it's FC staff?

These windows should have been replaced 10 years ago! They started replacing them in early 2004, the fact that it has been 2 years is unexcusable. They were in poor shape back in 99 when I moved in and they were in worse shape when I moved out.
