I lived at the complex for five years, from 1994 to 1999. At first, I lived on the first floor in a jr. one bedroom. It was very quiet and my neighbors were very nice. After about a year and half, I moved upstairs, in the same building, to a full one bedroom. What a mistake!!! The apartment I moved into was right over the laundry room. I had asked if it would be noisy in the bedroom, because I am a very light sleeper. They reminded me that there are "quiet hours" and no one is allowed to do laundry after 10:00 at night. Well, that was a big fat lie! My neighbors in the building had begun to change for the worse. People were doing laundry at 2,3, and 4 in the morning, and I could hear EVERY word they said through the floor heating vents! People slammed their front doors constantly! One of my downstairs neighbors had a son who had parties while she worked at night, that went on until 3 or 4 in the morning! I asked them to keep it down a little-my mistake-a couple of drunk teenagers came upstairs and started banging on the apartment doors trying to find me! I had to call the police many times! I complained to the office, but they never did anything. Another neighbor had a bird that screeched all night long and it smelled horrible in the hallway! I think there were about four guys living in that place. It got a little too trashy for me and I couldn't wait to get out! Don't let the new clubhouse and pool fool you. They don't care who they rent to and you will be the one to suffer because of it. They will tell you that they, too live in the complex, but just ask them which building. I'm sure it's one that it quiet and clean, unlike the one they're put you in.
