I have lived in this apartment complex for about a year and a half.

The pros are:
1> Very good location. I didn't have a car for about a month and I was able to manage very easily with it. All basic amenities were available within walking distance.

The cons are:
1> My apartment is facing the main road so it's extremely noisy, especially in the spring, summer and fall when we like to keep the balcony door open.
2> Before signing the lease agreement we were told that the rent was going to be $780, but when I looked at the lease agreement the rent was $790. When I asked about the extra 10 $, I was told that was because the apartment was facing the main road.. I really felt cheated.
3> The apartments are very small compared to some of the others I have seen in the same price range. Closet space is also very less.
4> We have no dish washer. We were told that we would have to pay an additional 90$ per month if we wanted an upgraded kitchen (which has a dishwasher). But at the time they didn't have one available.
5> The gym is a joke. The whole room is taken up by the machines. There is a 25$ extra fee (one-time) for the gym.
6> The swimming pool is even a bigger joke. The max depth is 5 ft! There is a pass of $35 per person per season for use of the pool.
7> The office staff is not very friendly.
8> Every person on the office staff will give you a different answer for the same question. They don't have good knowledge of their own rules.
9> When I first moved in to the apartment, the apartment was very dirty and I submitted a written complaint but nothing was ever done about it.
10> The laundry room is very rarely cleaned and I hate doing my laundry there.
11> The hallways are smelly.
12> The commode clogs every 4-5 months.
13> The shower leaks and has left a huge yellow mark in the tub. Even after numerous complaints it hasn't been fixed.
14> Last winter, the heater it wouldn't work till mid December and so we had to call the maintenance guys to fix it. Then in March the heater wouldn't turn off. Again we had to call the maintenance guys fix it. The thermostat has never worked.

I am waiting to move to a better place. We had only moved here bcoz of it's convenient location and bcoz we were supposed to stay there only for 6 months. The 6 months have turned to 18 months and I have surely had enough of this place.
