The management team running Hill Brook Place is no less than a disgrace. They are all shits and smiles when you are signing the lease or giving them rent checks. For anything else, they give a damn. Maintenance requests, although the "Pledge" says 24hours to ASAP, are fulfilled after weeks and numerous phone calls. It took them just over one month to respond to a request that was ordered by emergency services. One service request I placed a year ago still has not been resolved. Whenever I follow up, they stall with some excuse. To say that service is poor at Hill Brook would be a COMPLIMENT.

When talking to management about why it's taking so long, they are constantly rude and always lying to buy more time. When placing service requests, management is rude. Rarely are the people staffing the main office NOT rude.

Other residents are outright uncaring and rude. The place is full of drug addicts. I hear them rambling and raging all the time. One person was already killed this year - beaten to death. Kids vandalize cars and play carelessly in the parking lot. They throw balls at cars, denting them time and time again. They just don't care. My car has been keyed and dented. When driving in the lot, kids ride bikes right in front of moving cars. Stopping politely to wait for them to move causes them to yell and scream vulgarities at you. One time this kid who had to be 7 purposely rode right in front of me. I was only going 5mph having seen him, and stoped dead. He stood there on his bike giving me the finger and cursing. Wonder what kind of familly he's from...

The rent that is charged by Hill Brook is much higher than normal for this area. IT IS NOT WORTH LIVING HERE.

STAY AWAY FROM HILL BROOK PLACE!

Whoa..a bit jaded or bitter..no? The woman who was murdered was killed by a lifelong friend from her old neighborhod who snapped. She lived right next to me and the apartments are so soundproof I did not hear a thing. It could happen anywhere (and does)! I have lived here over 35 years and have never seen any drug activity. Only in the last few years have children even moved in and I have never had my car(s) dented or been treated rudley by minors. Are you living in the same complex I am? Yes it was better when this complex was privately owned..but all apartments are now being run by management companies and the office staff must defer to them. This is one of the cleanest, more well cared for complexes in Bensalem!

I AGGREE!! I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 10 YEARS. THE OFFICE STAFF IS ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL, AND WHILE SOME MINOR MAINTANCE REQUESTS HAVE TAKEN LONGER, I HAVE NEVER WAITED OR AN EMERGENCY TO BE TAKEN CARE OF RIGHT AWAY. YES! THE COMPLEX HAS CHANGED SOME OVER THE YEARS, BUT IT IS STILL KEPT CLEAN, AND SAFE FOR THE MOST PART. I BELIEVE THE PERSON COMPLAING,MUST BE CONFUSED, OR PERHAPS WAS BEHIND ON THERE RENT...

It is clear that these posting are from the staff at Hillbrook. I live there as well and that place IS NOT CLEAN! I don't know what building you live in but my building hardly ever get clean....unless you "personally" know the cleaning person!! Also, all these extra charges are ridiculous and the laundrey room has not worked properly since we moved in 3yrs ago. I must admit, i haven't had a problem with a lot of noise but there are some loud screaming drunks and drug addicts that live in my building that are out of control sometimes.
