Rent is high $869.00 for a 1 bedroom with a den, and the only thing included is cable with HBO & HBO2. Everything is electric, so the electric bill is usually over $150.00 per month. I like it cold, so the winter bills arent? as high as the summer. Our largest was over $250.00! Of course the washer & dryer they provide are the smallest I?ve ever seen, so what should be 3 loads of laundry turns out to be 6 or more. Also, the dryer vents INSIDE the apt., which impacts on the electric bill in the summer, but helps it in the winter.



When it rains, ALL the sidewalks flood. I don?t mind wading in the water, so I look past it. When the sidewalks were sheets of ice, it took them over a week and numerous complaints to get some salt down. Even then, they dumped it in piles instead of scattering it.



There is ABSOLUTELY no security of any kind in the huge parking lots. You have to park so far away from your vehicles, that if something happens, you?ll never hear it. Our 3 cars were broken into in the same night and many thousands of dollars were lost. Other people have had their cars keyed, involved in hit and runs, and broken into. I lived in the ghetto all my life and stuff like this NEVER happened.



On the brighter side, the apts. are HUGE and extremely quiet. We have a GIANT pantry, which is great for kitchen storage. You can?t hear any neighbors, EVER. Maintenance shows up the day after you report a problem, and fixes it the first time. The employees are always very courteous. All of my close neighbors are SUPER nice. I haven't had any trouble with them at all. They're very quiet, courteous, and friendly. You don?t have to lug your clothes to the laundromat, since there are washers and dryers in ea. apt. The grounds are like a little park, with a ton of squirrels and trees. The location is very good. It?s the price you pay for living somewhere quiet and convenient just outside the city.
