I would not reccomend this apt to anyone who expects to get their SECURITY DEPOIST BACK AS PROMISED FOR normal wear and tear on an apt. i was there 6,ths never hung up a picture never put a hole in the wall the kitchen was spottless.
I WAS INFORMED yesterday that they kept my deposit and are NOW CHARGING ME extra 200.00 for a rug that they had to replace supposidly and for the RIDICULOUS ELECTRIC THEY USE THERE> wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too high for a 1bdrm.
However the rug did have a stain in the livingroom and one in the den. nothing BIG AT ALL AND faded bc i have cleaned it several times.
they claim that a professional CLEANING SERVICE came out and could NOT get it out. it was not even a liquid substance that made the stain to begin with. maybe the size of hte palm of your hand is all it was and FAAAAAAAAAAAADED!
so now i get nothing back and they cant do anything about it supposidly. and how do i know for sure they put a NEW RUG In there' i dont.........
it's a horrible thing to do to people.
I am asking for the name of the company that cleaned it and the one that replaced it SUPPOSIDLY.......and want their work orders!!!!! i'm fighting this. It was in perfect shape when i left there other than a few broken CHEAP BLINDES they put in that if you bend it the wrong way or a few times by mistake they break!!!!!!!!!!!

i also want to speak to the REGIONAL person for Korman. i havent heard anything since my phone call to them yesterday. i emailed them today and so far nothing. THey have not heard the last from me ......ill tell you that. !!!!!!!!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! I also had many, many problems and the only way I made sure I got my deposit back was by going through the corporate office by email. I complained about the management time and again and documented everything I did. I also took pictures before I moved out in case they tried to say I damaged something. DON'T GIVE UP!!!

i never did get my deposit back , but nor did i PAY THEM what they tried to say i still owed them either. did they charge you for a NEW rug?

They just scammed us the same way with the carpet after 7 years of being good tenants. Did you ever get in touch with the regional manager? What happened?

to evilla, they shouldnt have charged you for the carpet since you are entitled to a new carpet after 5 years according to the PA landlord/tenant law. If I were you, I would follow up with that & make sure to get your $ back.
