Overall, this place was pretty good. The floor plans had a nice layout, although the kitchen had some wasted space. I like the idea of the apartments being 2 to a building and looking like townhomes with large courts. Here are the pros: you can pay rent online, they have a nice gym area (I never used the pool though). The staff was always willing to make copies and fax for me. The neighborhood is pretty quiet too. I never saw any bugs, other than house centipedes which are good because they take care of spiders, etc. NO ROACHES while I was there.
Cons: the walls are thin as are the floors, we had pretty loud neighbors and could hear them hanging pictures at 2 am. Although not ridiculously loud, took a few weeks to get used to it. People don't pick up after their dogs. Management is on top of that with letters and notices, but residents don't always listen. I own a dog and so it irritates me when I see irresponsible owners. The laundry facilities are adequate if you don't choose to use your in-home appliances. I only have one issue with the laundry facilities-people don't get their stuff so it holds others up.
Suggestion: Get the window insulation for the winter. The windows are good, but the wind in PA is harsh so it will blow through.
Most of the cons are due to other people. Overall, it's an apartment people, it's not going to be perfect and you have to get used to that. I'd recommend it to others, particularly military like us because it's far enough out of the city but close enough to drive.
