I've read the other reviews and I felt I needed to add to them, only because I don't want someone to end up in the situation I'm in. Alot of the reviews have an angry tone and that may lead future renters to think that these people were just angry and venting. But to the contrary, it's very true. I've been living here for almost a year and I'm very unhappy. Unlike some of the other reviews, the women in the management office have always been pleasant to me and maintenance has always responded within at least 24 hours to a call. The problem is, that there's ALWAYS something wrong or breaking. My neighbors below me smoke, and my apartment always smells of stale ciggarettes. The day I moved in, the washer, toilet, shower, garbage disposal and 2 windows were all broken. Apparently, my $50 inspection fee did not go to inspecting my apartment. There is also a bad insect problem. I am on the 2nd floor and my place is always crawling with nasty little things. The electric bills are outrageous. Mine range from $130-200 a month and I'm EXTREMELY conservative on my energy use. Korman doesn't use PECO, they use a private energy company and I'm inclined to think it's a scam.
If I was paying $700-800 for this apartment, I would figure, hey you pay for what you get, but to be paying almost $1,000 in rent, for such poor conditions and quality' It's just wrong. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the point. Please think this over carefully before deciding to rent here. I wish I had found this website before I signed my lease. It was too late for me, but hopefully I can save someone else the headaches.

quite true, and they never want to work with anyone. proof the electric is a scam: their preferred method of payment is the korman office. late on your bill? korman calls you. 330 a month for electric, on vacation for two weeks?
