Initially I thought it was an okay apartment to live in. I believe my apartment was repainted and the kitched was redone just before i moved in.
the problems i had were there was a bug problems. one night after it rained, there were spiders coming out of the carpet all over the apartment. i killed around 15 spiders that night. although the spiders were not that big, they kept on coming.
the other thing was a safety concern. my apartment was broken into in the summer of 2002. I lived in oak ct. on the first floor. it was a side apartment so the den had a window which was how the robber came in. some of the major things that were stolen were a laptop and airline tickets. i asked the apartment to get a security guard but they said it would be a liability.

so in summary, my apartment for it price was bearable but i don't think it a very safe area. I would not recommend it unless you're out of options. And definitely get renters insurance if you live here.
