My family has lived here for over 2 years, and I can honestly say that it just keeps getting worse. When we first signed our lease, our apartment was "not quite ready" -DO NOT sign a lease here if you've only seen the model. Our apartment was a wreck. The bathroom was a moldy pit - neither it nor the kitchen had been cleaned before we got there. We had to fight with the management office to get essential repairs made - while in the process of moving in. There is a huge bug problem in the apartments - including spiders, termites and the most incredilbly ugly bug called a "House Centipede". The bugs are prolific and calls to the office to request an exterminator fall on deaf ears.
"Small" pets are allowed in the community - but most dogs weigh more than I do. Many of the pet owners do not clean up after their dogs. Too many times have I had to clean filth off of my young children's shoes. It is very unheigenic and complaints to management go unheard.
My apartment is falling apart - and the maintenance department seems addicted to the cheap fix. They replaced my broken dryer - 2 weeks later - with another even more antiquated one. Just a way to add to the sky high electric bills, I guess.
The neighbors are nice, it is a shame we have to fight each other for a decent parking place. There are far better places in the city - stay there, it's worth the wage tax.
