Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
This apartment complex may look nice, but don't be fooled!
We are here for the first year and dont plan to renew!(Plus WE have to notify them if we do not want to renew or else they renew automatically)
In our first year we expereinced tons of problems!
First the most annoying thing is to constantly drive around the golf course everyday! With our current gas prices, it's crazy!
Second, The parking is horrible at night. You have to park a block away from your apartment.
Third, Do not live on the first floor. You WILL hear constant noise from the upper floors. The people above us are an elderly couple, they dont make to much noise, but the floors are so bad it makes them sound like elephants.
Fourth, there is a constant insect problem. You have to call for the exterminator as least once a month.
Fifth, they are a lot of stray cats and squirrels. Don't be surprised if squirrels get into your vents
Sixth, do not pay the $55 inspection fee. Its a scam, there was no fire extinquisher and the circuit box has not been inspected since the 1980's.
Seventh, The was a dead bird found within our walls. Really bad stench.
Eighth, it gets worse! The apartment above us had a bathroom leak. We had to get carpets and ceilings replaced and it still smells in here! Plus, make sure you get insurance because they will pay for crap!
Ninth, Do not take your kids to the playground. There are lots of mosquitos when it gets dark.
Tenth, they make the free golf course. It's great if you like to play with the hundreds of ducks that inhabit the course.
Finally, do not believe the good ratings about the apartment complex. Just look at the time those people spent there. Most of them are 1 year or less. If this was such a great place, why don't they live there longer' There are a few people who like it here. Most of them are elderly people who cant miss bingo and mah jong night or they just like the nasty smell of the delaware river.
This place sucks for the money you have to pay :(
