all complainers need to get a life From: tk1985 Date posted: 10/20/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   all i have to say is that you people make me sick. i've lived here for 2 years and have never experienced what you are talking about. so what you get bugs...what house or other apartment complex doesn't and not to mention...hello, you live on the water! as for stray cats, there wouldn't be any if people would stop feeding them. parking is not that terrible. so what if you can't park directly out front of your building all the time, even before i lived here i had to park sometimes 2 blocks away. as for the fireplaces, i have one in my apartment and have never had it smell like a campfire. maybe you should try opening your flue. the prices are very comptitive with the other properties in the area. i shop them all the time considering thats what i do for a living. i've never had a run in with the staff, all have been very helpful if i've ever had a problem. why just today, my neighbor had fallen in her apartment and the staff was right there assisting her, contacting her family. really took all the procaustions above and beyond. no one wants to see all the good this community can offer. as wioth any other property, you're going to have your advantages and disadvantages, things will happen, but if you have a problem, they will take care of it. no one has patience anymore. thats the biggest problem. as for maintenance, i've never seen a group of guys work harder that the salem harbour guys. they are here day and night to make sure things are good. in fact 4 staffers both office and maintenance live here. even on their time off they are more that willing to help anyone of their neighbors. they have heart which is more that what i can say for half the people who've submitted reviews! i plan on staying, take it from me, it really is a great community!
