well, you pull into this complex and your first impression is... wow this is nice, that is of course until you get the plastic surgury unit, which here at salem harbour we are proud to call the leasing office, which we fill with bimbos and lushes. Of course like used car salesman they are always nice to you and extremly helpful, that is until they have your money and your lease is signed. lets start with move in day, i get there and my apartment carpets are wet and still have a few stains from previous tennents..... hmmm i believe pa law states at the change of tennents that have been there at least one year the carpet must be changed. i go in to the kitchen to find the handle on my fridge held together by electrical tape. As well as i must say i was charged by them a 50$ inspction fee my bensalem township, yet when i moved in there were no batteries in the smoke detectors and there was an electric box in the kitchen last inspected 21 years ago.1984. Parking is hit or miss here, some nights you will come home at 7pm and have no where to park, other nights at 3 am, you have ur pick of places to park. 24 hour security, if by security you mean this 75 year old black man in sweatpants that drives a 77 chevy lumina van who drove by a dumpster the other day with kids pulling trash out of it and throwing it. the people are generally nice, the older people get cranky, you can here you neighbors getting laid at all hours of the day. not to mention the occasional big bug (far and few) but i grew up never seeing a bug like that until here. The few perks i can mention is the view is nice and it landscaped well, that is until you get right past the marina and see the cat farm of at least 20 cats at any givin time and after about 2 months the long drive around the whole property jst to get to your apartment gets old. one last thing the maint. staff here is awful, my ceiling in bathroom is now leaking and crumbling everytime my upstairs neighbor showers i have called 5 times and they are always sending someone out that day, yet no resolution and no maint man, not to mention when i moved in the one maint man developed a liking for me and would leave me notes on my door and stole my phone number from the maint list and started calling me until his fiancee found out and then she flipped on me.... overall there are better ways to invest 850 a month... like right now a beat up trailer sounds apealling compared to this
