We've been here for about 10 months, and we're happy, overall.

Pros: The grounds are pretty, LOTS of trees and land (which is beautiful, especially walking around the private golf course to see the river right there), and the apartment is spacious. The features like washer/dryer in unit, diswasher/disposal, nice carpets, balcony, lots of room, etc. make it far superior to my last apt., in Northeast Philly. Free fitness room for residents saves us private gym fees (which is great), pool, golf course (!), pleasant, non-"shady" neighbors that give you a safe "community" feeling.

Cons: Maintinance work could definately be faster and more efficient. I've had this problem every where I've lived, but still, it could be better. It takes a couple phone calls to get them to do something adequately. In the winter, they don't shovel or salt the walks or plow very well, but again, I've seen worse (I keep a shovel of my own, and enjoy the exercise). The only bugs we regularly get are spiders, beetles, and other kinds of bugs that reside in the suburbs or rural areas, so I don't consider it a "problem" - its reality of living in this area, and by the river. I've never seen a roach or mouse, but we're not on the first floor (if you have a concern about bugs, I'd say pick a 2nd or 3rd floor apt!)

Again, overall... very happy here. We'll probably stay here a good long while.
