Expensive apts, lousy management, but otherwise very nice

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2005
I lived here for about 6 years. The makeup of the tenants is many seniors, but working couples/families too. The area is definitely safe. The rent is definitely expensive (circa 2009, you might as well pay a mortgage rather than SH rent). The nice things are the big pool, the tennis courts (which I used frequently - but were kept in very poor shape), and the golf course.
Likes: the suburban feel (i.e., squirrels, trees, the quiet), the pool, 15min walk from train station, few minutes from I-95
Dislikes: management unfriendly, simple maintenance issues took weeks, high rent
Overall - it's a decent place with nice amenities, but for the money you'd be better off buying rather than renting.
