I lived in this place for 7 years. The first 4 I was working practically 7 days a week so I was barely home to notice how bad this place really was. Then I couldn't work any more, and spending more time at home you start to notice certain things around you that shouldn't be. For instance, you call maintenance because your air conditioner isn't blowing cold air-it's blowing hot air- it's monday- they don't show up until friday- meantime it's been one of those weeks-heatwave-by friday the heatwave is over, but thats when they show up and it took them 10 minutes to resolve the problem. Meantime the freak they call a manager sits in a well air conditioned office getting payed her salary with the money she collects from our rent. I don't blame maintenance because it's all up to management how the work gets done. I heard from one of the guys that the entire crew walked out because they could not work for the manager anymore, they say she is a total b@#%&. The last year I lived there one of the guys discovered that my air conditioner was running for an entire year without a filter. Every week the unit would not work, the whole summer without air, and I am asthmatic plus I had medications that could not be kept in temps. higher than 77 degress. Management knew that but did not care. Also if you do decide to move into this hell hole, don't let them tell you that you can't have direct tv instead of comcast, I got into an argument with the manager wanabe on the weekend because she tried to tell me that I could not have it installed when I already had approval from her boss, ever since that argument they tried every which way they could to irritate me and cost me money, they would also deny me anything I asked for. Also, when you visit this location take a look at the where the dumpters are, these overflow because there is not enough of them for all the apartments, so on the weekends it's not a pretty picture if someone comes to visit they'll think you live in a landfill. Management is sweet to get you in but once you sign that paper she'll treat you like dirt thats been scraped off the bottom of her shoes. The rent will go up but the apartments are drafty, the air conditioners are old and even with new windows the air from outside comes right through the doors. You can hear every word downstairs or upstais and you can smell what you neighbors are cooking because the walls are paper thin. In the summer there is an abundance of bees and you always need the exterminator for roaches. Parking space you have to fight for. And if you do move here, make sure any request you make to the office , do it in writing, oh, and prepare yourself to pay a large electric bill if you use the air in the summer because it will need to run continuesly to keep your apartment cool. Nobody wants to be babyd, but everyone deserves to be treated with respect and the manager running this place needs to learn some people skills.
