The place is one of the bigger and cheaper places in the area. The rooms are sized nicely and there is a small porch to get outside. Some features are great, like the private entrance, the large bathroom, and the eat-in kitchen. Nevertheless, the cons of the place so heavily outweigh the pros that you should stay away.

The air conditioning is awful. Electric bills of $250 a month in the summer, and the temperature in your apartment hovers around 86 degrees on hot days. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs.... a wide variety infest the apartment. Wasps out on the porch. Silver fish, roaches, thousand leggers, a wide variety of spiders, and beatles from outside that get under the door take over your inside. Maintanence is not bad, but they will never fix anything to your benefit.... a la air conditioning. Let's see, I can hear my neighbor snoring at night. Homeless people pick through the dumpsters. The water heater barely has enough hot water for a shower and a half. There is the occasional mouse the claws at your ceiling at night, and the neighbors are truly disrespectful. Don't leave your windows open at night, because the car stereos blast at 5:30 in the morning.

Maybe I was expecting more from the place. I lived in Philadelphia for 4 years, at a wide variety of places, and none of those places were nearly as bad as this place. As I write this, I am sitting in high 80 degree temperatures because the air conditioning broke down again.

I'm not trying to get my frustration out in this review, but rather, I'm trying to inform you to stay away. It is not worth the money.
